Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Klyp is looking for an engineer to support and grow their analytics platform. The role involves managing and improving the analytics infrastructure, ensuring data pipelines are reliable and changes are safely deployed.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve your part of the analytics infrastructure end to end: keeping the data pipelines healthy, improving reliability, and shipping changes safely through code
- You'll work close to production data, so care and precision are part of the job
Skills
- Solid Terraform — modules, state management, plan reviews
- Hands-on AWS: IAM, VPC/networking, ECS/Fargate, S3, Secrets Manager, KMS
- Operational experience with at least one columnar analytical database (ClickHouse, BigQuery, or Redshift)
- Experience with a streaming platform (Kafka/MSK); familiarity with CDC/Debezium is a strong plus
- Linux, Docker, CI/CD (GitLab CI), and comfortable scripting in Python/Bash
- Least-privilege thinking and a careful approach to production data as a default way of working
- Airflow
- Superset or other BI tools
- MongoDB Atlas
- Observability (Prometheus / Grafana / CloudWatch)
- Experience operating in a shared AWS account with strict access boundaries
