The role involves partnering with stakeholders to develop scalable data solutions, optimizing SQL queries, and creating interactive dashboards to support business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to support reporting and data analysis
- Improve data quality, governance, and consistency across reporting platforms
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions using data from multiple business systems
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that support business objectives
- Modernize existing reports by replacing legacy reporting assets with efficient, scalable solutions
- Investigate and resolve reporting and data-related issues while implementing long-term improvements
- Present findings and recommendations to both technical and business audiences
- Evaluate emerging analytics tools and technologies to enhance reporting capabilities
- Design, maintain, and enhance ETL workflows, data models, and reporting processes
- Create and maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries, and process documentation
Skills
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence
- Strong hands-on experience writing and optimizing advanced SQL queries
- Experience with data warehousing concepts
- Proficiency with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, or similar platforms
- Good understanding of relational databases, data governance, and data management best practices
- Experience integrating data from multiple enterprise applications
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
