The business development representative is responsible for generating new revenue by securing meetings with hospital decision-makers and expanding relationships within target accounts.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain targeted prospect lists within hospitals and health systems
- Execute coordinated outreach campaigns using email and phone
- Convert cold and prospects into scheduled introductory meetings with qualified hospital executives
- Conduct persistent, professional follow-up to keep prospects engaged and moving toward a meeting commitment. Navigate executive assistants, gatekeepers, and organizational structures to gain access to decision-makers
- Collaborate closely with DDI executive leadership to refine messaging, improve outreach effectiveness, and support overall sales growth
- Maintain complete and accurate CRM records, including activities, notes, objections, follow-up dates, and next steps
