The Business Development Representative will drive revenue growth by generating and qualifying leads through strategic cold outreach and will collaborate with the sales organization to secure new client meetings.
Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Identify and prospect potential clients using cold outreach strategies, including email campaigns, phone calls, LinkedIn messaging, and other digital platforms
- Research & Targeting: Conduct research to understand prospects' industries, pain points, and needs to tailor outreach efforts effectively
- Qualify Leads: Engage with prospects to understand their requirements, assess their fit for our services/products, and pass qualified leads to the sales team
- Maintain CRM: Keep accurate records of prospect interactions, follow-ups, and pipeline activities in the CRM system
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies, share insights, and improve lead conversion rates
- Metrics-Driven: Meet or exceed monthly lead generation and qualification goals while continuously improving outreach techniques
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field
- One (1) year in a similar role (sales development, business development, or lead generation) with experience in cold outreach
- Experience in the healthcare industry, specifically selling into doctor's offices
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other major CRM platforms
