About the Role Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote BIM Specialist to join their innovative construction technology team. This role is fully remote, allowing you to contribute to cutting-edge projects from anywhere within the United States. You will be responsible for developing, managing, and implementing Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and strategies throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of BIM software and its application in construction, with a proven ability to enhance project coordination, visualization, and clash detection. You will play a crucial role in driving efficiency and collaboration for projects located nationwide, with a strong focus on supporting projects in the Orlando, Florida region and beyond. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain BIM models for various project phases, from design to construction. Perform clash detection analysis and coordinate resolution of conflicts between different disciplines. Create and manage BIM content, families, and libraries. Support project teams in utilizing BIM for planning, scheduling, and cost estimation. Ensure adherence to BIM standards, protocols, and best practices defined by the company and project requirements. Provide training and technical support to project teams on BIM software and workflows. Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and owners to facilitate effective BIM communication. Generate 3D visualizations, renderings, and reports from BIM models. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in BIM and construction technology. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM coordination and management within the construction industry. Expert proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and potentially others like Civil 3D or BIM 360. Strong understanding of construction processes and project lifecycles. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams. Experience supporting projects in various locations, including familiarity with standard construction practices across different regions. A dedicated home office setup with reliable high-speed internet is required.
