Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Mixtape Digital is a senior-led performance marketing agency that focuses on creating authentic marketing strategies. They are seeking an Associate Director, Paid Media to lead strategy and evolve their paid media efforts, owning client accounts and contributing to pitches while building internal processes to support growth.
Responsibilities
- Own paid media strategy and performance for assigned client accounts with a focus on paid search and paid social advertising platforms
- Plan, execute, optimize, and report on campaigns with full accountability for performance outcomes
- Build trusted relationships with clients by communicating clearly, proactively, and confidently with everyone from marketing managers to executive leadership
- Lead, develop, and train both experienced direct reports and entry level team members
- Build and refine performance reporting using tools like Looker dashboards, Google Analytics, and internal reporting frameworks
- Collaborate closely with teammates across multiple channels (SEO, Influencer & CRO) to deliver integrated, growth-oriented media programs
- Help develop and improve internal processes, templates, and best practices as the agency continues to grow
- Stay ahead of platform changes, testing opportunities, and evolving best practices across paid media
Skills
- 4-6 years of experience owning paid media strategy and performance in an agency or similarly fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated expertise in both paid search and paid social, with the ability to lead cross-channel strategy and drive measurable business outcomes
- Experience owning client relationships and being accountable for performance results
- Comfort presenting to clients and prospects, with the ability to think on your feet and match tone in live conversations
- A strategic mindset paired with a willingness to execute and troubleshoot directly in-platform
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with dashboards, data, and performance storytelling including Looker or other BI/reporting tools
- Leadership skills with a focus on employee growth and development
- A builder's mentality: comfortable operating without perfect systems and motivated to help create them
- Experience with Amazon Ads or Amazon DSP
- Experience contributing to pitch decks, RFPs, or new business strategy
- Exposure to growth-stage companies or environments where processes were built over time
