Facilitates and implements learning and development products and services to FedEx Corporation (FEC) employees as coordinated by the University with regional, district, and field management in conjunction with the Regional Talent Development Plans, employee development needs, and organizational improvement efforts. Partners with subject matter experts to provide learning solutions for supporting and building a strong understanding of contracted service provider agreements. Serves as a facilitator of Service Provider Solutions (SPS) training to FEC employees to achieve desired results. Responsible for administration and delivery of service provider familiarization materials. Also responsible for consultation, facilitation, program management, implementation, and reporting on SPS programs across FEC. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Implements contractor relations related learning solutions, reports on status, and consults on ongoing learning needs for field SPS and Operations at FEC. Maintains communication with the station/hub management, district staffs, SPS and Operations to ensure the completion of tasks. Coordinates with internal and external customers to design, build, test, and launch training and development programs. Facilitates regional or district events and courses within geographic areas of responsibility as well as assisting in training for any new station/hub expansion/openings as assigned. Creates and implements a customized learning plan while consulting with regional and district leadership Administers and implements delivery of service provider familiarization materials. Conducts station/hub level observations and training program evaluations. Provides coaching and feedback as needed to SPS and Station/Hub management. Develops and maintains new and existing contractor relations training programs for FEC employees. Collaborates with L&D Project Specialists in the research and development of learning curricula and materials by applying complex instructional design. Collaborates with internal and external resources on course offerings, schedule, compliance, administration, and logistics within defined timeline and budget. Attends and participates in corporate, regional, district and local level leadership meetings and events to support the departmental mission. Performs other duties as assigned This position is eligible for remote work and may be located anywhere within the United States excluding AK, HI and U.S. territories, however if you live within the 50 miles radius of a campus you will be required to work at a FedEx campus location several times per week Minimum Education Bachelor’s degree in education, Communications, Business Administration/Management or a related discipline is required. Related experience may offset degree requirements and related education/degree may offset experience requirements. Minimum Experience Five (5) years of experience in education and/or training as a manager, individual contributor, instructor, learning developer, or employee development specialist or related experience is required. Business Development Solutions and/or Operations experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications. Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with all levels of management, to explain complex and/or confidential information. Presentation skills necessary to facilitate training and/or deliver informational sessions to groups and/or individuals. Time management and organizational skills necessary to manage multiple projects, appropriately prioritize workload, plan for resources to meet deadlines and goals, and respond to day-to-day functional needs. Ability to anticipate and identify problems and use sound judgment and fact-based analysis to develop effective and efficient solutions. Knowledge of concepts, practices, policies and procedures used in FEC operations preferred. Knowledge of the contracted service provider model and/or vendor relationships preferred.
