As an Outside Sales Representative, you will assist homeowners with insurance claims, conduct storm damage inspections, and engage in proactive outreach to build relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and document homes for storm damage
- Meet directly with homeowners to educate them on repairs and the claims process
- Sign restoration agreements with clients
- Create detailed estimates for restoration projects
- Engage in marketing and lead generation to attract new prospects
Skills
- Must be comfortable engaging face-to-face with customers, building rapport and trust in every interaction
- Ability to climb ladders and access roofs safely as part of the inspection and project management process
- Access to dependable transportation is required to travel to job sites and client meetings
- Demonstrate independence, self-discipline, and effective time management skills, including the ability to create and manage your own work schedule
- Willingness to proactively self-generate leads while also following up on leads provided by the office, maximizing opportunities for growth
- Other avenues of lead generation include canvasing, going door-to-door, attending potential social events, and other creative options
- Previous experience in sales
