Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should have experience building server-side applications, integrating databases and third-party services, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Node.js.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Integrate databases, third-party APIs, and external services.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product teams.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
• Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
Required Skills
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms and deployment processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of message queues such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
