A leading global audio streaming and media brand is seeking an experienced Global Media Lead for a 7-month, fully remote contract (US only)
In this role, you will drive media strategy, planning, and execution across a diverse portfolio of campaigns, with a strong emphasis on music marketing. Acting as the primary liaison with the brand's media agency of record, you will engineer high-impact tactical investments, analyze data for optimization, and balance big-picture strategy with hands-on campaign execution.
Responsibilities:
• Agency Liaison & Strategy: Partner with the agency of record to develop integrated media plans, tactical investments, and custom activations.
• Campaign Management: Oversee day-to-day execution and performance of multi-channel campaigns, ensuring successful launches and goal delivery.
• Data & Analytics: Analyze campaign data to deliver clear, actionable reporting, optimization insights, and strategic recommendations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align with marketing, brand/creative, and strategy teams, while guiding junior team members through the planning and reporting process.
Qualifications:
Top 3 Must-Haves:
• 7+ years of media planning, strategy, and buying experience (agency or client-side).
• Full-funnel, cross-channel expertise spanning digital media (strong social platform knowledge) and traditional channels.
• Proven track record of managing both high-level strategic planning and day-to-day campaign execution.
Tools & Technology:
• Proficiency with core digital and social media platform interfaces.
• Expertise in analytics and campaign performance data tracking tools.
Soft Skills:
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• A collaborative, consultative approach with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work autonomously.
Nice-to-Haves
• Experience in the music, entertainment, live events, or cultural marketing ecosystem.
• Experience managing global or multi-market campaigns.
• Deep understanding of Gen Z audience behavior and media consumption trends.
