Key Responsibilities
- Connect directly with veterinary clinics to coordinate prescription endorsements, resolve customer issues, and clarify order requests
- Analyze and troubleshoot to determine suitable solutions for customers and center partners, and follow up as needed to resolve issues
- Complete data entry of prescriptions into arenaflex healthcare software
- Maintain a high level of quality through data entry and order processing of veterinary pharmacy orders
- Work with empathy, undivided attention, patience, compassion, and kindness to customers and partners alike
- Communicate with veterinary clinics via phone (and occasionally other channels as needed) using our internal program and systems to navigate solutions and record center note accounts
- Expect a significant portion of the typical business day to be outbound veterinary clinic/client phone contacts
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal skills (written, verbal, and listening)
- Ability to multitask (e.g., chat on the phone while navigating on the computer and taking notes)
- Work with ownership, be a self-starter, and demonstrate attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain a Pharmacy Technician License from the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy where applicable
- Critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt to change according to the business needs of the organization
- Flexibility to adjust schedule and work overtime as needed by the specialty unit
