Job Description:
• Develop and implement the strategy of our private label brands
• Work directly with current and future sourcing partners to grow the portfolio
• Implement best practices encompassing customer need, quality and competitive pricing
• Drive the development of sales and profit growth strategies for product portfolios
• Collaborate closely with sales team in each market segment
• Manage supplier relations, marketing, contracts, and other functional areas
• Lead Concordance’s sourcing team for private label brands
• Evaluate, develop and implement private brand sourcing strategies
• Build strong relationships with key internal departments and outside stakeholders
• Collaborate and coordinate with Supplier Relations Department
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 8 years in previous med-surg product/industry specific or procurement/product sourcing experience
• MBA, with concentration in business administration, supply chain or related discipline is preferred
• Minimum of 5-years of experience with Concordance or equivalent company in the healthcare industry or related product-sourcing role in a complex industry is preferred
• Proven leadership characteristics such as working well with others, knowledge sharing expertise with fellow peers, functioning with tact and diplomacy, and presenting an overall positive attitude
• Strong problem solving, analytics, time management, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Effective relationship building skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively as a member of a team
• Strong negotiating skills are critical for this role.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check and drug screening.
