We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Developer Advocate to join our Developer Experience team. As a Developer Advocate, you will play a crucial role in engaging with our developer community and advocating for developers’ needs within OpenAI.
Requirements
- Strong full-stack engineering background, with experience building with AI and LLMs.
- Proven track record of engaging with developers to help them find success with API-based products, and building developer communities.
- Deep user empathy and an understanding of what’s required for a product experience to be great and an appreciation that the details matter.
- Creativity and passion for exploring new ways to connect with and empower developers.
- Pride in crafting delightful developer tools and high-quality demos and sample projects.
- A history of creating documentation, how-to content, and code that help developers find success with technical products.
- An ability to write high-quality code, documentation, how-to content that help developers find success with technical products.
- Ownership of problems end-to-end, and are willing to pick up whatever knowledge you’re missing to get the job done.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset, able to work effectively across different teams and disciplines.
- Ability to move fast in an environment where things are sometimes loosely defined and may have competing priorities or deadlines.
- Experience with or a strong interest in AI ethics and safety, aligning with 's commitment to responsible AI development.
