Job Overview
The Country Manager will be responsible for leading the company’s strategic direction, securing necessary licenses for global operations, spearheading business development initiatives, forging strategic partnerships, and overseeing marketing efforts to establish our brand as a leader in Web3 payments.
Key Responsibilities
Licensing & Regulatory Compliance
- Oversee global/local license applications (e.g., VASP, EMI, MSB, or regional crypto/fintech licenses).
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations in key markets (South America, UAE, UK, Canada, etc)
- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to navigate evolving regulatory landscapes.
Business Development & Growth
- Develop and execute a scalable business strategy to drive adoption of Web3 payment solutions.
- Identify and pursue new revenue streams, including B2B and B2C opportunities.
- Expand market reach by entering new geographies and verticals (DeFi, e-commerce, remittances, etc.).
Strategic Partnerships
- Establish partnerships with blockchain networks, fintech firms, banks, and merchants.
- Negotiate high-impact collaborations with exchanges, wallets, and payment processors.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders in the Web3 ecosystem.
Marketing & Brand Leadership
- Define and execute a compelling marketing strategy to enhance brand visibility.
- Oversee digital marketing, PR, and community engagement (social media, events, influencer partnerships).
- Position the company as a thought leader in Web3 payments through content, speaking engagements, and media outreach.
Leadership & Operations
- Build and lead a high-performing executive team.
- Manage fundraising efforts (VC, strategic investors, token offerings).
- Ensure operational excellence, scalability, and financial sustainability.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5-8 years of experience with leadership expertise in fintech, payments, or blockchain.
- Proven track record in securing financial licenses (crypto, payments, or banking).
- Strong background in business development, partnerships, and marketing in Web3 or fintech.
- Deep understanding of blockchain, DeFi, and digital payment ecosystems.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
