Senior Construction Administrator - Healthcare, Sports & Entertainment, Mission CriticalA leading architecture and design firm is seeking a Senior Construction Administrator to support projects across healthcare, sports & entertainment, and mission critical sectors. This individual will serve as a recognized leader in construction administration, providing technical expertise and acting as a trusted advisor on large, complex projects. The role requires strong communication skills, creative problem-solving, and the ability to build and maintain effective client relationships while making high-impact decisions related to building systems and code compliance.Key Responsibilities:Lead construction phase services across multiple concurrent projects, including site meetings, submittal reviews, RFIs, and payment applicationsCollaborate closely with owners, design teams, and contractors to ensure project goals and requirements are metApply expertise in building systems (architectural, structural, civil, etc.) and applicable codes across healthcare, sports & entertainment, and mission critical projectsManage RFIs, submittals, and construction documentation using digital management toolsInterpret design intent and communicate effectively with project teamsMonitor scope changes and identify potential additional services, coordinating with project leadershipReview shop drawings and product data for compliance with contract documents and quality standardsConduct site visits, prepare field reports, and observe construction progressEvaluate cost impacts and administer change orders, substitutions, delays, and payment applicationsFacilitate communication and coordination among owners, consultants, and contractorsLead internal and external meetings, including preparation of meeting minutes and coordination documentationSupport team development, mentorship, and a collaborative work environmentPromote sustainable design practices and uphold high standards of design excellenceContribute to business development efforts, including client engagement, proposals, and interviewsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Science, or related field preferredProfessional licensure (RA) preferred10+ years of construction administration or related experienceExperience with Revit, AutoCAD, Newforma, and other industry-standard software preferredStrong knowledge of building codes, QA/QC processes, and contract administrationFamiliarity with Owner-Architect, Owner-Contractor, and Consultant agreementsExcellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong written and verbal communication skillsAdditional Details:Experience in healthcare, sports & entertainment, or mission critical projects strongly preferredWillingness to travel to project sites as needed
