Farm 2 Fork Pest Services is built around a strong food safety culture, supported by a PCQI on staff and team members trained in Food Defense. This approach offers commercial clients a specialized partner that understands the unique demands of food production and distribution environments. Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Commercial Pest Control Technician. The technician will conduct regular inspections of commercial and food-related facilities, identify pest activity and conditions conducive to infestations, and implement integrated pest management strategies. Responsibilities include applying approved treatments, maintaining and calibrating equipment, documenting service activities in detail, and ensuring compliance with food safety and regulatory standards. The role involves communicating findings and recommendations to customers, preparing service reports that support audits, and collaborating with internal teams to refine service programs. The technician may also participate in ongoing training related to food defense, safety protocols, and emerging pest control methods. Qualifications • Candidates should possess strong inspection, observation, and problem-solving skills related to pest identification and prevention in commercial and food environments. • Candidates should possess proficiency in applying integrated pest management techniques, including safe use of treatments, equipment handling, and adherence to safety procedures. • Candidates should possess effective communication skills for explaining findings, documenting services, and interacting with clients and internal team members. • Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills for planning routes, prioritizing service calls, and maintaining accurate records. • Relevant qualifications such as prior commercial pest control experience, familiarity with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, Food Defense), and PCQI or similar training are beneficial. • A valid driver’s license, ability to work independently in a remote capacity, and willingness to complete background checks or certifications as required are beneficial.
