ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY Nassau National Cable is a U.S.-based e-commerce distributor with over a decade of experience supplying wire, cable, and industrial electrical materials to commercial and industrial clients nationwide. We are expanding our sales network and seeking experienced sales professionals in the industrial materials and electrical distribution space. This is an independent contractor (1099) role structured around performance-based compensation. It is designed for seasoned sales professionals with an established book of business who prefer autonomy over a traditional employment structure. • Performance-based compensation · 1099 Independent Contractor • Remote — U.S. based • 10+ years experience preferred • Flexible schedule WHAT YOU'LL DO • Develop and grow a portfolio of B2B accounts across commercial, industrial, and contractor segments. • Prospect and qualify new clients through outbound outreach, referrals, and your existing network. • Present and negotiate product solutions tailored to each client's project and procurement needs. • Manage the full sales cycle — from first contact through close and account retention. • Maintain accurate pipeline records in CRM. • Provide periodic updates to leadership on pipeline activity and market feedback. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR • 10+ years of B2B outside or field sales experience in industrial materials, electrical distribution, wire & cable, or adjacent construction/MRO sectors. • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets. • An active or recently active client network in relevant industries. • Experience operating in autonomous, contractor-based sales structures. • Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and standard business tools. • Strong negotiation, communication, and consultative selling skills. • Business-level English proficiency (written and spoken) required. • Must be authorized to work as an independent contractor in the United States. COMPENSATION Compensation is commission-based and directly tied to sales performance, with no earnings cap. This structure is intended for established sales professionals who generate income through their existing client relationships and closed deals.
