Role Overview
Faculty Mentors aid Learners in achieving educational objectives, provide academic instruction, counseling, and mentoring, and support course, program, and institutional educational outcomes. They must be able to provide effective and responsive academic instruction, verbally and in written form.
What You Will Do
Faculty Mentors will facilitate courses, create and/or revise course content, participate in Learner-related activities, engage in curriculum development reviews, assess Learners, and perform other duties as assigned by the Dean.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This role requires a terminal degree in clinical psychology or counseling psychology, active licensure as a Licensed Psychologist, and a minimum of three years of online teaching experience. The ideal candidate will have experience with online instruction and learning management systems, particularly Canvas LMS.
Requirements
- Terminal degree from a regionally accredited institution in clinical psychology or counseling psychology
- Active license: Licensed Psychologist
