Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced accountant to manage our general accounting functions. This remote position offers flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a growing company dedicated to improving healthcare services. The ideal candidate will be proficient in financial management, possess strong analytical skills, and have the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
- Manage payroll
- Handle bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Collaborate with other team members
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a remote or part-time capacity
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Freshbooks)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
