This is a remote position. We are seeking a highly detail-oriented, reliable, and organized Account Coordinator to join our Medical Billing team. Key Responsibilities Manage and process 50+ tickets/emails daily, ensuring all items are addressed promptly and completed no later than End of Day (EOD) Sort, categorize, prioritize, and respond to tickets while escalating issues when necessary Provide fast and accurate initial responses to inquiries Track and monitor the progress of tickets, emails, Teams messages, SMS, and other communications Proactively follow up with team members to ensure tickets continue moving toward resolution Review ticket details and attachments to determine department routing, priority level, and escalation needs Maintain organized and detailed communication records Demonstrate strong understanding of the medical revenue cycle and health insurance processes Read and interpret insurance documents such as Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) Assist with claim follow-ups and payment posting when needed Requirements Qualification Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to identify issues others may overlook Comfortable managing high-volume workloads while staying organized under pressure Experience using ticketing systems, task management tools, or CRM platforms Strong written and verbal English communication skills Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Strong coordination and follow-up skills Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook and Teams Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and urgency Previous experience in medical billing, health insurance, claims processing, or revenue cycle management preferred Experience with claim follow-ups or payment posting is a plus The following are firm requirements and are not subject to exception: Internet speed: Minimum 50 Mbps upload and download (wired connection strongly preferred). A verified backup internet connection is required — mobile phone hotspots are not acceptable as backup. Dedicated wireless dongles or secondary ISP connections are acceptable backup solutions. Backup power source required (UPS or generator) to maintain connectivity during outages. Quiet, professional workspace suitable for voice work — free from background noise and interruptions. Noise-canceling headset required. Reliable computer with sufficient processing power to run EHR systems and softphone simultaneously.
